SmartLactation provides supplementary educational materials for aspiring lactation consultants and other interested individuals. Our Service consists of online courses, video overviews, audio deep dives, practice quizzes, and other study aids designed to help users understand topics relevant to the field of lactation.
2. IMPORTANT: Educational and Professional Disclaimer
- Not an Accredited Program: SmartLactation is an independent, self-learning platform. We are NOT an IBLCE® (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners®) accredited program. Our courses do NOT provide the required educational hours for initial certification or award CERPs (Continuing Education Recognition Points) for recertification.
- Supplement, Not a Substitute: Our Service is intended to be a supplement to, not a replacement for, a formal education pathway recognized by IBLCE. Users seeking to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC®) must enroll in an accredited program.
- No Guarantee of Success: While our materials are designed to aid in learning, we do not warrant or guarantee that the use of our Service will result in passing the IBCLC exam or any other professional certification.

3. User Accounts

- Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it through your account dashboard or by contacting us.
- Payment Processing: We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) to handle payments. We are not responsible for any errors made by these processors.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will continue to have access to the Service until that date.
