What is the difference between “Hosted” and the “Plugin”? ▼
Hosted (Starter/Pro/Premium): We host the calculator for you on our secure servers. You get a link to share with clients. No technical setup required.
WordPress Plugin: You download a file and install it on your own WordPress website. The calculator lives on your domain (e.g., www.yoursite.com/calculator). This gives you total control.
Is this a mobile app? ▼
No, it’s not an app you download from the App Store. It’s a web tool that works in any browser on phones, tablets, and computers. This means clients don’t need to install anything to use it.
What does “Domain URL” mean? What will my link look like? ▼
The Domain URL is the web address where your calculator lives — the link you’ll share with clients. Here’s what it looks like for each package:
- Starter:

A simple, free subdomain with your brand name. - Pro/Premium:
magicnumber.yourdomain.com
Uses your own domain! Looks more professional (e.g., calculator.janelactation.com). - WordPress Plugin:

Yes! Pay once and it is yours. We hate monthly subscriptions as much as you do.
How does the “Email Gate” work? ▼
When enabled, mothers must enter their email address to see their calculation results. This helps you build your email list. If you buy a Hosted plan, we add this for a $30 setup fee. If you buy the WordPress Plugin, this feature is built-in for free.
How do I use it? Do I install it on my phone? ▼
No installation needed! You simply get a website link (like yourname.netlify.app). You can bookmark it on your phone, save it to your home screen, or just visit the link whenever you need it. Share the same link with your clients — it’s that simple.
How do I let mothers use it? ▼
Just share your calculator link! You can text it, email it, put it in your Instagram bio, add it to your website, or print it on your business cards as a QR code. When mothers click the link, they’ll see the calculator with your branding — your name, logo, and colors.
Do I need any technical skills to set this up? ▼
Not at all! I handle all the technical setup for you. Just send me your logo, brand colors, and the name/title you want displayed. Within 24-48 hours, you’ll receive your personal link — ready to share with clients.
Can mothers save it to their phones? ▼
Yes! They can bookmark the link or add it to their phone’s home screen (it will look like an app icon). They can also download their personalized pumping plan as an image to keep in their photo gallery for quick reference.
How long does setup take? ▼
Most setups are completed within 24-48 hours. I’ll need your branding assets (logo, colors) and we’ll have your calculator live in no time.
Can I update my branding later? ▼
Absolutely. Minor updates (name, title, colors) are free. Major redesigns may require a small fee.
