How to Customize Your Branding
Make the calculator your own by adding your brand name, logo, and custom colors. This helps maintain your professional identity when clients use the tool.
Accessing Brand Settings
Step 1: Open Settings
In your WordPress dashboard, click on “Pumping Calc” in the left sidebar menu.
Step 2: Find Branding Section
You’ll see the “Branding & Contact Info” section at the top of the settings page.
Branding Options Explained
| Setting | Description |

| Client/Brand Name | Your business name or personal brand Example: “Sarah’s Lactation Services” |
| Professional Title | Your credentials or title Example: “IBCLC” or “Lactation Consultant” or “RN, IBCLC” |
| Website URL | Your website address displayed in the calculator Example: “www.yourdomain.com” |
| Logo URL | The web address of your logo image See instructions below for how to get this |
How to Add Your Logo
Follow these steps to upload your logo and get the URL:
Step 1: Upload Your Logo
Go to Media → Add New in your WordPress dashboard and upload your logo image.
💡 Tip: PNG format with a transparent background works best. Recommended size: 200-400 pixels wide.
Step 2: Get the Logo URL
After uploading, click on the image in your Media Library. On the right side, you’ll see “File URL” or “Copy URL to clipboard” — copy this entire URL.
The URL will look something like:
Step 3: Paste the URL
Go back to Pumping Calc settings and paste the copied URL into the “Logo URL” field.
Step 4: Save Settings
Click the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of the page.
Customizing Colors
In the “Appearance Colors” section, you can customize two colors:

| Primary Color | Main accent color used for buttons, highlights, and the Magic Number display |
| Primary Dark Color | Darker shade used for text, headings, and button hover effects |
How to Change Colors
- Click on the colored box next to each color setting
- A color picker will appear — select your desired color
- You can also type in a specific hex code (e.g., #6EC1E4)
- Click “Save Settings” when finished
💡 Tip: If you’re unsure about color combinations, try using your logo’s main color as the Primary Color, and a darker version of it for Primary Dark.
Where Your Branding Appears
Your branding will be displayed in several places:
- Calculator header — Logo and website URL appear in the top right
- Results page — Your brand name and title appear in the footer
- Schedule page — Branding appears on the interactive planner
- Saved images — When users save their results or schedule, your branding is included in the downloaded image
Quick Checklist
Before you’re done, make sure you’ve:
- ☐ Entered your brand/business name
- ☐ Added your professional title/credentials
- ☐ Set your website URL
- ☐ Uploaded and linked your logo
- ☐ Chosen colors that match your brand
- ☐ Clicked “Save Settings”
